Jean Pierre (Pete) Espil, LCSW - President/Director
Pete Espil has worked with youth and young adults for 25 years in a variety of settings including group homes, alternative schools, detention centers, and treatment centers. He spent 13 years in full time ministry for the Catholic Church, serving in 4 different parishes in three different states.  These years included two years as a campus minister at a large, Catholic High school and 3 years at a Catholic center as the Campus minster on the campus of one of Idaho’s three major universities. He is the author of three books and has traveled extensively as a motivational speaker. He served in the United States Marine Corps after high school, received his Bachelor degree in Linguistics from Boise State University and his Masters in Social work from Utah State University. He is also an oblate in the Benedictine tradition. He currently works as a counselor at a local agency in his home town in Idaho. When he isn’t working, he enjoys spending time in the great outdoors of Idaho, practicing martial arts, and spending time with his wife and their rescued dogs. 
 

Jaime Thietten-Espil - Vice-President/Director
Jaime, the wife of Pete Espil is a Catholic Recording artist who has spent the past 20 years recording, traveling and giving concerts from New Zealand to Canada and throughout the United States. As a partner in her music corporation (Alturas Productions LLC) she has overseen many of the day to day operations of her music business which include website design, product inventory, booking, travel planning, and more. She has released 9 albums. Some of her career highlights include having a #2 radio single for her cover of Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me”, being a featured performer at the Starkey Hearing Foundation Gala Awards sharing the stage with Jay Leno, Kenny Loggins, Goldie Hawn and more. She was a featured performer at the Caring Awards hosted by former Senator Bob Dole in Washington, D.C. as well as the featured performer for National Right to Life Conventions in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2018. Jaime made the decision to scale back touring in 2017 and now teaches voice lessons to 20+ students each week. When Jaime isn’t teaching or singing she enjoys horseback riding, volunteering at Rising Stars Therapeutic Riding Center, waterskiing, fishing and spending time with her husband and dog.
 

Becky Baily - Secretary/Director
Becky Baily is a native of the Magic Valley. She has been supporting people with disabilities since 1990. She is involved with The Idaho Association of Community Providers. This is a group of state providers dedicated to quality, community-based services in Idaho. They help educate government leaders and they partner with self-advocates and industry leaders. Some of these organizations include The Magic Valley Suicide Awareness and Prevention and the Consortium of Idahoans with Disabilities. Becky loves giving back through serving others in volunteer projects. She enjoys living in the country, having her animals, and spending time with family.
 

R. Pete Turner - Treasurer
Pete Turner is a native of Idaho who was born and raised in Twin Falls. He is a convert to the Catholic Church where he has been an active member for over 49 years. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a manager of a fish business, a building and maintenance supervisor, and a farmer for 44 years. During his life in the Magic Valley he is known for coaching and facilitating a variety of youth and sports activities including football, soccer, baseball, and basketball. He currently spends his time working a small farm that he and his wife have owned for 15 years. He is known around southern Idaho of living an active life engaged in playing and working with youth of all ages. 
 

Leah York, PhD - Board Member
Leah is a licensed clinical psychologist and a registered yoga teacher. She worked as a nail technician and nationally certified massage therapist for 13 years and co-owned and operated a salon in the magic valley area for three years before she transitioned into the mental health field. Leah enjoys conducting forensic psychological evaluations for competency to stand trial for youth and adults as well as court ordered mental health and child custody evaluations. Additionally, she conducts evaluations for a range of referral reasons from local medical and mental health providers for diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations. She is a current board member for the 5th Judicial District Court Appointed Special Advocate Program (CASA) and has served as a volunteer and an advocate coordinator for more than seven years. She loves spending time with her husband, son, and family adventuring and traveling. In her spare time she enjoys teaching yoga and being outside whether camping, paddle-boarding, or enjoying the sunshine working in her flower beds. 
 

Tom Chambers - Board Member
Thomas P. Chambers joined Kosmos in November 2014 as a senior vice president and chief financial officer, retiring on December 31, 2020. Mr. Chambers brought to Kosmos significant corporate finance and executive experience in the international exploration and production industry. Prior to his duties at Kosmos, Mr. Chambers most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Apache Corporation from November 2010 to February 2014. Over a nearly 20-year tenure at Apache, Mr. Chambers held a variety of leadership roles in finance, corporate planning and investor relations. Before joining Apache, he served in the international business development group at Pennzoil Exploration and Production Company and held a range of management positions with the BP plc group of companies. Mr. Chambers earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and has served on the Board of Trustees of Notre Dame College of Ohio for 7 years. He and his wife Sue are great examples of living a life of service to others and they have 7 wonderful children.
